quality dog food in lausanne

hi - does anyone know where i can find high quality dog food in lausanne? i normally feed my chihuahua blue buffalo dog food (and before that, california natural) which i have had people send me from back home in the states but it is so expensive to have it shipped over.  nutro is out of the question because of all the recalls they have had and so is most of the proplan stuff i have seen here since the main ingredients are fillers and not meat.  i know i am being picky but any help would be appreciated :)

ps - i am not opposed to ordering it online either so if anyone knows of a place that delivers to switzerland and sells high quality dog food, i would be ok with that route too. i checked all of the amazon sites (.it, .fr, and .de and no luck).

Your dog needs meat, and preferably organ meat, which contains fat soluble vitamins. Fat and protein should be eaten together for best assimilation (this also applies for humans!!)

Have a look at Ramiel Nagel's website www.curetoothdecay.com

BTW the Migros sells old meat for pets (look for the dog/cat sticker) at the meat section.

Hi Lauren, just try any restaurant, the quality should be similar to dog food here - including the "Swiss Made" ;-)

QualiPet in Romanel sur Lausanne.

Big store. Might even have Blue Buffalo. They cater to farm and domestic pet customers. It'e the biggest selection of dogfood I have seen anywhere so far.

I have a mini-schnauzer and I look for dogfoods that don't have wheat products.
