Bee Movie is fun, some very good lines but not enough to make it as exciting as Ratatouille! It is good fun but it lacks this little something that makes you crazy about it. It is the story of a Bee that feels different from other bees and feels the need to see the outside world. He does not want to just enter into a pre-designed life. Exploring the human world he discovers that we steal the honey from bees and thus he decides to sue humankind.
In short good fun, some good jokes, worth seeing although not the best cartoon around. It is enjoyable but miles away from Shreck.

firstly, jerry seinfeld has till got the knack to poke fun at our cultural development....or lack of it. much better development than shreck and one really needs to have been brought up in the usa ( and even more so in a new york or big city environment) to get the full blast of humor. i saw it twice ( at home on video ).
some genius i.e. he wants to get royalties everytime someone says "honey, i'm home"!
on every hit song by "Sting",
his mother says: "how many times have i told you, don't fly in the house"
and many more. and of course the the social satire of a Litigious culture where even the bees can get legal representation to sue for any crazy idea. this film goes beyond the simple cartoon, it is a finely tuned social satire in the true seinfeld tradition........
