Didn't think it was possible but yes it is! Very trash and disrespectful but hilarious... except maybe for gays and people called Bruno...

Well, yes, "Brüno" is rude, gross, disrespectul but it is super FUNNY! Have not laughed so loud in a long time. Looking forward to a new excentric character from Sasha Baron Cohen...

I am a fan of both movies - and in particular bruno's "straight dave" scene. borat and bruno depict the prevalence of anti-semitism and homophobia, respectively, which are still alive in our "modern" societies.

True, the scene when "Straight Dave" becomes Brüno again is quite scary. The hatred in the eyes of people around the ring is unbelievable

I saw Bruno yesterday and I was laughing more then watching Borat, it was pretty vulgar, the end naïve. Certainly I will not watch it again.
I saw the last movie of Almodovar, this one is brilliant, perfect music, colours and story itselft…pure pleasure to watchThe text you are quoting:

Well, I guess you can't really compare Brüno with "LOS ABRAZOS ROTOS" of Almodovar. They belong to 2 different universe...
I also really enjoy this movie (beautiful characters - Penelope Cruz is gorgeous - although the story is cruel and quite cynical, but hey, it's Almodovar style!)

Oh, yes, the virtual encounter with the singer of Mili Vanilli... very good scene! I also loved the talk-show about the little O.J.

Yea, the talk show was great.
The pictures he chose to show were genuis, especially the one when Bruno and the kid are holding all the bees. Bruno is fully protected, and the kid is just there - naked - in the middle of the bees. It's a sure picture to get the audience excited...
