I understand this post might be dated now but for anyone interested. I am a screenwriter/filmmaker and two of my scripts have been optioned in Hollywood. One of my collaborations made the black list in 2008 and is being made into a major Hollywood release in 2012. I have recently moved near Geneve, to work on my latest project which is a full length feature based in the Alps and looking for cast and anyone who is interested in filmmaking/screenwriting in this part of the world to discuss ideas and knowledge about the region and anything else. I am definately interested! I have taken part in lots of writing groups, also have studied it and done a little professional writing. I found a writers group in Zurich but they don't seem very organised! So i am game if you want to get a group together to bounce ideas around  I live in Zurich though...

I am organising a monthly screenplay feedback session in Zurich city. It is a rather structured (but friendly-familial atmosphere) format where everybody sends his/her work in advance and gets at the event a feedback of the round. You should have basic knowledge about general screenwriting theory in order to participate.

Currently the event is in German, but I am happy to organise also English sessions. Just sign in at http://www.meetup.com/Zurich-Drehbuch-Feedback-Treffen/ and note that you are interested in English meetings. After being at least 3 english speaking people I would set up the first event.

I have ideas but never spend time to write a proper script so i would write it or not.

So is there a group that's meeting on this, or what?  I'm in Lausanne.

I've published a literary fictional work and am currently writing its sequel.  (about zombies)  Would absolutely love to hear from people who are serious about bringing this story to life.  I have a passion for writing, but the next step should be to bring the story to the masses via audio-visual. 

For a heads-up, it's called Zombie Chronicles: Cost of Humanity ,and it's not the "typical" gratuitous gore and mayhem of a horror movie. This actually humanizes zombies with an evolutionary view of them in a post-apocalyptic world.  Different: absolutely.

Any thoughts?
