DubXanne : The Police in Dub
The Police! i still remember those shivers down my spine upon first hearing Roxanne & Walking on the Moon. Well the shivers are back in force with this creative masterwork of a tribute to the jazz & punk infuenced rock trio responsible for introducing dub & reggae sounds to a mostly unaware international audience.

Dubxanne is a perfectly crafted collection of Police recreations, its hard to believe that there are no original samples in there. Theres not a better dub/reggae collection out at the moment, great for parties, background, bedroom or intellectual deep listening. I couldnt recommend a better introduction to the different Dub styles out there.

So take the giant steps to the moon and go beyond Bob Marley & UB40... this will be one of the coolest additions to your record collection ever. highly recommended!

alternative swiss dub selection:

Dub Spencer & Trance Hill : Return of the Supercops

(stunning floydesque swiss dub album from 2007, makes my top 10 dub albums of all time

and its Swiss!)
