I must say it is rare I go to see a scary movie in a movie theater, the last time was years ago when I was still in Lugano, it was 'the circle' I think. It is not my cup of tea but this one is really excellent and scary. At least I was really tensed watching it. Of course you can condition yourself before and laugh at it but let yourself into the atmosphere and you will definitely be scared.

The good thing is that it respects the 'codes'/the rules of ghost stories and does not scare you just to scare you using and abusing you with artificial special effects. The story is classical in many ways but well screened and efficient. The actress is really good.

Even though it is a 'horror' movie it touches the delicate theme of the loss of a child with intelligence, subtlety and sensitivity.

Definitely a beautiful movie although it is a very specific genre!
