Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (spoiler free)
I loved it! Harry Potter has been a huge part of my professional life (school librarian) starting with my very first year as a teacher. I have waited with bated breath for each installment and enjoyed all of them. This last one, not quite ten years after I read the first, is everything I never knew I wanted and needed to know. Talk about closure, baby!
I'm not posting anything specific about the plot because I realize that people are probably still reading it. If you are going to post your own thoughts on it, please be considerate of those who may not want to know what happens until they have read it themselves. If you can't hold back and must put in writing something that you're so glad/sad/mad that happened, please put in your subject/title that you have spoilers in your post. That way people who don't want to know won't open your post.
Please respect this until next Saturday (July 28th) at which points all bets will be off. In fact, posts that are spoiler or "wannabe" spoilers will be deleted. Thanks for being considerate towards fellow readers.
Thanks so much!

I thought the bit where (Didn't read or didn't care about Kate's instructions and so this part of the message has been deleted by Kate) was a bit off plot, and hardly suitable for 11 year olds!

What a great last book! Definitely not for children any more, thoroughly enjoyable! I am not going to go into detail, but my husband got a little worried when I kept reaching for the tissues...

I was a little saddened that the Harry Potter series was over. The last book is brilliant and everything just seems to come together. I especially like the very last bit when you find out about their future. The name of the kid being the name of two great wizards was fantastic! (and that doesn't give anything away!)
