An excellent movie, on the arty side, black and white. Good soundtrack, great dialogues and so absurd at moments that you laugh a lot. Full of references, well screened.

Four stories of petty criminals that are total failures. You feel some sympathy for those wannabe gangster that are so hopelessly stupid.

The common point between all these stories is a highway cafeteria/restaurant.

In a nutshell a great movie, arty in its esthetic, absurd in its situations and dialogues, funny and a great pleasure to watch. A question you should answer before you go: What actress (US) impersonates best a cheeseburger?

i saw that movie last year at the Locarno Film Festival.  It was a 9h30 p.m. showing in the Piazza Grande with 8000 spectators...the movie was a real hit...and if i'm not mistaken won some public prize...the director, as well as his girfriend who plays the girl in the movie were all there to talk about it...

excellent choice...

Really loved it too. It has such a peculiar humor... you can not compare it to anything else.
