This is a movie based on an Agatha Christie's novel, one of the few without Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple?
It is a French movie with French actors (with the great Danielle Darrieux).
The story is based in today's Bretagne, you have the old Mansion, the family that has members hating each other... but I would have prefered early twentiest century. Just for the atmosphere.
You can guess who the murderer is if you pay attention to details... I enjoyed it, although the plot in my opinion had a flaw.
In short an entertaining movie, in French.
