L'enfant éternel
I've just come back from a play in the theatre in Yverdon "L'enfant éternel". It is an adaptation of the novel written by Philippe Forest. It tells the story of a 3 year old girl having cancer and dying at the end of the story. The writer tells us he made his own daughter become "un être de papier", a way to give her an eternal life.

I hesitated for a while to go and see the play at the theatre, because it is a very sad story, the death of a child being something so terrible. But beyond all the struggles and pain that she lives at the hospital, it is also a beautiful story of love between 3 people (the daughter with her parents).

And so I finally went there and watched the play and I must say it was very sensitive. Of course the tears are always near the corner but there was a specific beauty in this play connecting me as a member of the audience to a very deep part of my personality. Very difficult to explain this with words.
