Les Chansons d'Amours
French movie, so you have to know French

It's a dramatic love story and how a guy choses to handle his sorrow... would not be my choice for sure... well the relationship is kind of fishy from the start... you have several songs written for the movie (it is not like 'On conna?t la chanson', a great movie, where actual French hit pop songs were used).

One of the written songs is well written although I do not agree with the content. I am not sure if I got the message from the movie right, but it opposes passionate love to long lasting love... not sure it should be opposed... but one thing is sure, at least in my opinion, sex when you love a person is so much sweeter and great than during short term relationships. It is kind of fusional, not animal... tender, slow, long lasting exchanges instead of quick and short lived pulsions (sometimes it is great too... but so less fulfilling for both)... Well I get carried away here... may be it is just a question of preference and taste different from one person to the other... you do not have all that in the movie so openly presented at least. Althoug maybe the beginning suggests that and is there to underline the quest for unconventional relationships to make things hotter... Should see it again to get that answer, but I have so many other movies to see so if you are curious go for it.

In short it talks about love and sex, no really hot scenes and several songs... you can miss that one it is not an unforgetable movie but it has its merits.
