One of the best films I have seen in a while.  The acting in superb as is the direction and everything else.
What touched me was yet another realization of what people do to themselves and to each other without really intending any harm, by not saying what they mean or by not doing what their heart of hearts tells them they should do.
She could have saved herself by refuting society's judgement as shameful regarding a lack in her eduation.  
He could have saved her, maybe, and reduced his own suffering, with a sincere HUMAN hug.
A lesson on the theme of how short life is and how wasteful it is not to express one's feelings clearly and fully.
