The Usual suspects

The good, the bad and the ugly

La cité de la peur (stupid but really funny french movie by "Les Nuls". I actually also really liked the Asterix made by Chabat)

Scarface

Pulp Fiction (and I have to mention reservoir dogs)

Ghost

Inside Man

Godfather

The departed (well, only saw that one once, but only because it's the most recent in the list)

Catch me if you can

Rounders

Die Hard

Ocean's 11

Indiana Jones III

Ok, it's a bit more than 10 ;)

Jungle Book, essential viewing for kids and adults

The Village

This is Spinal Tap

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

The Haunting, original version

Twelve Monkeys, which I've watched the most yet it's not my favourite

I've watched these following movies a thousand times over:

1. Sound of Music

2. Fiddler on the Roof

3. When Harry Met Sally

4. Leon (EN Title: The Professional)

5. Splash

6. Shawshank Redemption

7. Greencard

8. The Pianist

9. Mermaids

10. You've Got Mail

I could go on and on, but I'm afraid it would take me forever to type all my favorite films here.

It was fun doing this.

The Usual suspects
The good, the bad and the ugly
La cité de la peur (stupid but really funny french movie by "Les Nuls". I actually also really liked the Asterix made by Chabat)
Scarface
Pulp Fiction (and I have to mention reservoir dogs)
Ghost
Inside Man
Godfather
The departed (well, only saw that one once, but only because it's the most recent in the list)
Catch me if you can
Rounders
Die Hard
Ocean's 11
Indiana Jones III

Ok, it's a bit more than 10 ;)

3 years after, I know but you can't say that "la cité de la peur" is stupid!!

It's BRILLIANT!!

However, I would go to watch a movie with you!!

- all the Rocky movies (it moves me when he screams Adriaaaaaaaan!) Tongue out

- the Indiana Jones movies (with a preference for the one with Sean Connery as his father)

- A Room with a View by James Ivory (love to see victorian Brit tourists in Italy)

- The Devil Wears Prada (Meryl Streep is absolutely fantastic in the devil part)

- Miss Potter (for the beautiful landscapes of the Lake District and Ewan Mc Gregor...)

- Kama Sutra, A Tale of Love (not a porn one I promise although much too sexy for a usual Bollywood movie!)

- Sense & Sensibility (for the great script adaptation by Emma Thompson)

- Memoirs of a Geisha (for the beautiful picture and love story)

- Some Like It Hot

- Le dîner de cons

There's only one I've watched over and over again, it's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" by f.f. coppola. Especially this scene, is the most magical and brilliant movie scene ever … "there is much to be learned from beasts".

I find the OP a bit confusing.. as for me my all time faveourite movies are not necessarily ones I can watch over and over again.. like some people mentioning The Pianist and the OP listing Life is beautiful.. both are masterpieces, great movies I absolutely loved but don't think can rewatch them due to the difficult subject matter it becomes an absolute ordeal.

Anyhow here's my guilty pleasures ones I'd watch a 100 times or more

Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs (probably did watch a thousand times)

Taxi Driver

4 weddings and a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually

Annie Hall, Manhattan, Anything Else, Match Point, Bullets over Broadway

Lost in Translation (soon to beat Pulkp Fiction :-) , Groundhog Day

Casablanca, Maltese Falcon, The big Sleep, Treasure of Sierra Madre

The text you are quoting:

I find the OP a bit confusing.. as for me my all time faveourite movies are not necessarily ones I can watch over and over again.. like some people mentioning The Pianist and the OP listing Life is beautiful.. both are masterpieces, great movies I absolutely loved but don't think can rewatch them due to the difficult subject matter it becomes an absolute ordeal.

Anyhow here's my guilty pleasures ones I'd watch a 100 times or more

Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs (probably did watch a thousand times)

Taxi Driver

I very rarely watch movies more than once, but there are alway exceptions:

1. Happy Feet - one of the best feel-good films around

2. Someone to Watch Over Me

3. Jagged Edge

4. Play Misty for Me

5. The Bodyguard

6. Monty Python and the Holy Grail

7. Les uns et les autres

8. Marche à l'ombre - the two French ones mainly because I needed to watch them three or four times to understand them.

Les uns et les autres - my first French film. Wonderful, but took me at least 3 viewings to understand the French and the relationships.

I could watch Crazy, Stupid, Love a hundred times... It's my favourite movie. It's light and funny, ideal to watch after the hard day at work.
