No to be missed on ARTE tonight: "The world according to monsanto" (FR)
Tonight at 9pm, do not miss The world according to Monsanto on ARTE TV, a French documentary painting a grim picture of a no-holds-barred evil corporation with a decades-long track record of environmental crimes, health scandals and endangering the population of the entire world. It will open your eyes to many things and change the way you’ll look at your food.

I agree wholeheartedly with Free about this film.  It was broadcast recently on TSR.  The film is a devastating and entirely convincing critique of Monsanto in particular and GMOs in general.  The filmakers illustrate brilliantly how industry and government officials work hand-in-hand to alter public policy to serve private concerns.   If you believe that the proliferation of GMOs assist developing-country farmers, you will see powerful examples of the contrary.
