PRINCE at Montreux Jazz Festival on 18th July
Unfortunately the 7'000 tickets for the 2 concerts on 18th July were sold out in few minutes on Saturday... Is anybody selling one of these very expensive tickets? I am just looking for one actually.

Thank you!

Laurence

So you're making a +50% profit on this one (face value: 195chf). Not too cool... not too cool.

sorry b_karma but - and i would never ordinarily say this but you really asked for it - i think you are hardly in the best position to be labelling what's cool or not..

Is the point of selling ones extra tickets not to make a profit?

Damn, it seems I created a controversy about Prince's tickets sold in the black market!!

Sorry guys, it was not my intention. I am just looking for 1 ticket desesperatly ("1st show") and my maximum budget for the show is CHF 250.

Cheers

Laurence, have you tried ebay? i saw a few posted so you might be able to find something within your budget.

you didn't create a controversy, supply and demand is a normal part of everyday consumer life - sometimes people (buyers and sellers) take it personally.

its the supply/demand market that ultimately determines $ value of an item (concert ticket, antiques cars etc..), and its fair because, if the seller is asking too much, it will never sell right? especially online items, as the prince ticket was.

by the way the prince ticket sold instantly for 390CHF. the buyer was extremely happy!

hey best of luck with finding a ticket!

Chris
