I advise you all to go to Paris and visit the Picasso exhibition there. This is the best of its kind that I have ever seen. Picasso mastered all the technics at the age of 18 and tried everything that he could. He was able to paint like great Dutch masters. He then realized that he had to give the world something more and started to explore new ways of expressing the art of painting. In Paris you have now at the Grand Palais a fantastic exhibition were you can see Picasso's interpretation of great paintings. You have the original by a Dutch, Spanish or French master for example and next to it Picasso's interpretations. Books have been published on that subject but it is the first time, I think, that you can see those paintings next to each other. I sincerely urge you to go and see it. It is there until the 2 of February I believe. Try to book your ticket in advance or come 45 mn before the opening to avoid making a long queue.
