Tarantino's Death Proof
Not as good as the other classic Quentin classics, but worth a watch if you liked Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. However, if you're not a big Quentin fan anyway, don't go to this movie, cos you won't like it.

The dialouge in this one is less witty than in Quentin's last films, and the characters - with some exceptions - are a bit less colorful. But still, worth a watch.

I did not like it... it is violent but Tarantino is by definition... I think he did not manage to do something original here! Dialogues are not great, as they can be... you can do better than that Mr Tarantino!!!!

I like Kill Bill, particularly the lead song of the first movie (the first song at the beginning), but I fall in love for a detail it's my problem!!!

No jokes aside Kill Bill was violent, but original, twisted and contorted and has in it a lot more than this DeathProof...

Avoid it unless you are an unconditional Tarantino fan and want to see two cars chasing for half the movie...

Casting for the movie , seems that Kurt Russell was hoping for a boost to his career like John Travolta did with pulp fiction, don't think this will happen for Stuntman Mike. Nice to see real stunts rather than CGI , especially with Zoe Bell on the bonnet (hood) of the car, actually felt the danger which you no longer do with most films, although I won't be tempted to try it.

It seemed to be a film of 2 halves , which the intermission neatly provided, had much more empathy for the second set of girls, didn't really care about the 1st group.

Probably won't add it to my DVD collection for repeat viewing , but ok all the same. Definately for QT fans

Caricature of American tv shows in the 70's...excellent for that. i liked best the second part as well but i guess that the first was preparing the second. very humorous. dialogues are funny and i love the beating up stuntman mike scene. violent but somehow not shocking because it is just a gigantic joke. the whole movie is a joke. a good one to my taste. exhilarating.
