Terminator Salvation - terrible
There is a TV series on the subject - 'Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles' and apart from a slightly better acting, most of the time I had a feeling that I am watching this series (although there is a lovely girl as a Terminatrix is the series).

The scenario is illogical, wounded man is treated with a heart transplant, the transplant donor is a hero-volunteer and no one even checks if their blood groups match.

John Connor is such a boy who I do not know why is an unofficial leader of the Resistance. The entrance to the main base of Skynet is easier than to a lodge by the dorm, and the most moving moment of the movie happens when Kyle Reese gets the right to wear a jacket with resistance emblem.

Terminator 3, which was just a parody seems great comparing to that.

Too bad that once a film is done, there's no way to scrap it and re-film everything ;-)

I actually found Terminator 3 quite interesting in its variation and turn-everything-from-the-other-two-films-upside-down mentality.

But I think everybody is hopeful that no-one else tries to ruin the Terminator-"brand" beyond the damage done already ;-)

well...it's not terrible. it's just a flick to throw an hour and a half away. minds set to off, and I mean completely off (ok, respiratory part must remain on) and the flick passes, and we survived, right.

I mean, to analyze a movie like this one is a waste of ink. Luckily, we're using the keyboard.

The original title is "Terminator : Salvation" - there is no "Number 4", or just "4" or something like that in the title :-) Meaning, they didn't even try to make a sequel (oh, yeah, right). They probably wanted something new, mind reaping and, oh, hell, they just didn't succeed.

- hope you see the sarcasm in here

How could they put Arnie in it and no breath taking chick? OK, the one who "rescued" (oh, what a surprise was that?!) Marcus was cute, but they didn't show her enough to really understand her. As well as any other character: most of them were just put in the story, without any explanation of who, why and where. They expect that we all know every little thing ever mentioned anywhere.

oh, have to stop whining, better forget I paid 18 CHF for the ticket and just move on. :-)

yes, conclusion: go see it if you are really big fan. and don't expect much.
