The Duchess - nice movie
The Duchess tell the true story of the Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana... beautifully impersonated by Keira Kinghtley. She is a very attractive actress and is not only beautiful but she is charming and sweet. She is a little too skinny but unfortunately I do not share her life so it is not much of a issue for me. She is so lovely. Often beautiful women and cold and without a soul, they do not express much and they do not inspire me love. Keira is different she has a soul, she is simply cute to die for.

Anyway these is not the point of the review, the movie is very good and Ralph Fiennes is greatly playing his part in this story that shows how much you ladies had to fight for to gain your liberty. The Dutchess is a clever lady, a fine and sharp spirit. She is independent but has never realized that sex can be great. Thus she lives her life without much questioning the sense of intercourse outside procreation. Here mother is mostly responsible for it as she too does not know much about the subject. However, one day the Duchess discovers what it can be and then troubles start.

The sad thing is that despite all the progress that has happened, despite all the feminist campaigns and the emancipation of women... most still do not realize how powerful carnal pleasure can be. Often men share part of the blame as they have never much questioned themselves. It is so surprising that today when access to information has never been so easy, so many men and women have a miserable sexual life.

Another thing that has not changed much today is that children are still used to manipulate the other when a marriage goes wrong. Of course not all people are stupid but it happens more than often. And today women and men are equally guilty of these reckless behavior.

In a nutshell a nice movie with great actors and questions that still today are more than often unanswered. Really worth seeing.
