The Simpsons (The Movie)

The middle was a bit slow, but I have to say that all and all this was pretty funny. A little more sexually explicit than the series but all for a good laugh. Not sure I would pay the CHF to see it in the movies again, but that's only because I felt strange about seeing a movie that I can watch for free on tv ;) The DVD release might be a better option.

These are the Simpsons! Nothing new but a very good laugh, I enjoyed it from the start till the end, jokes are of unequal quality but I laughed all the time! I am a big fan of the Simpsons because the authors make fun of themselves, i.e. of the US. It is good when you can make jokes about yourself no matter who you are and people around the world often forget that! I am not leftwing but I like to make fun of the liberal society when it is excessive... but I still believe it is the less bad system.
I haven't watched much TV in the last few years so I haven't seen the last three seasons if not for one or two sequels but I am happy to have seen them on the big screen... as always they are great fun and it is so good to laugh.
If you like the Simpsons go for it, they are what they are meant to be... an excellent laugh therapy, a mirror of our own shortcomings!
Another one I am looking forward to see is Ratatouille!
