I'm reading Love for one of my bookclubs and really enjoying it. I've never read anything by her before. She has a very fluid style.
Does anyone out there have a favorite story by her?

Read it years ago, but it left a lasting impression. I love her style of writing too!

I'm a huge Toni Morrison fan! I've read The Bluest Eye twice and Beloved once. She is an incredibly lyrical, powerful and poetic story teller. If you like her writing style you would probably like John Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath and Of Mice and Men.

And if you don't, I'll buy the book back from you....Start with The Bluest Eye though first....Can't say which one is better as that's a matter of personal taste, but if I were to read both I would start with The Bluest Eye.
Ciao!
