Un Baiser S'il Vous Plait - not bad
This is a French movie that explores the risks of a kiss... is a kiss just a kiss or does it bear in it much more than that.

The movie is very academic, pure in it visuals and style... it could be a play. Artificial in a way it nonetheless explores women/men relationships. At one point a character raises the question: If you really love someone do you let her/him go with the other? If not is it more a question of love or pride? If you are in love with someone do not let go, try again and only if it does not work give up. Life is too great to be wasted.

A nice little movie but to be seen only if you are curious enough to see a different style. Certainly not an unforgettable one. I think I saw the first movie of this guy something more than a year ago. It was the same kind of subject (love and couples) with the same kind of style. The director should be careful not to close himself into a single style.
