What about learning the musical language?
Hi, can I recommend a brand new book (in French!) about the music signs and theory. It's only 18 francs, things are explained in colour (that's new in this field) and you can learn all about keys, semi-tunes, notes and rests! The book is called "Th?orie de la musique: bases essentielles pour la formation musicale" and you can either order it online on www.milamus.ch or buy it in one of the 3 music bookstores of Geneva: 1. Les mots et les notes, situated just across the H?tel du Rh?ne; or 2. Aulos, situated on Place Neuve next to the Conservatoire; or 3. Point d'Orgue, on rue de Carouge 98. Last but not least: it's aimed at kids and adults. Avanti la musica!
The text you are quoting:

For those musicians of us out there

We could give some basic introduction to music courses!!!
In English, as the french use different terms and names in music, very useful in french speaking countries, but not in the rest of the world.

Just a thought
Simon.
