Hehehehe!
I'm suffering EXACTLY the same thirsty of fancy going-outs! Anyway, it seems that this weekend there's a decent festival in Pully with The Raveonettes, Crookers, Trentemoller,... A mexican girl called Heidi, put an ad in glocals seeking people for going there. Obviously I sent an email to her, so watch this thing out!
Regards,
Carlos

The first rule of Underground is not to talk about Underground.
ah ah funny answers guys...
Everything you need to know is here: www.ladecadanse.ch (well, for Geneva at least...).
August is pretty "dead" but things get going again in September - watch out for concerts organised by Cave12 - real underground, but be prepared for weirdness!
P.S.: Never say you're too young or too old for something - you might miss out on a great deal of fun :-)

wow, that's smooooooth
I've been here for years and one thing I can say for certain is the "underground" is generally pretty bad here. Mostly caucasian dreadlocks that do hard drugs to crappy electro reggea in the forest. You won't get the pretty ravers that are in America or England. They are more along the lines of squat parties.
In mid October I'm heading back to LA to some descent raves, where the underground hasn't been abandoned to the rats. If you find anything where heroin and dreadlocks isn't the order of the day, let me know.

100% agree...
Coming from Bristol in the UK (the birthplace of a lot of musical styles), I was used to a huge underground scene (contradiction in terms?)...abandoned hope of finding it in Geneva, Zurich and the surrounding area is MUCH more geared for this.

You're based in Lausanne which has way more alternative venues and events than Geneva. Heard Punk is good - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=52056926601 also for live music Les Docks is great.
I've heard about some alternative club called Pash a while ago from a friend but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

If any of you are looking for a "rave" there's one on this weeked at L'Usine:
Friday - Dubstep: http://www.ptrnet.ch/1983/30092011-festival-interferenz-1er-jour/
Saturday- Drum & Bass: http://www.ptrnet.ch/1983/01102011-festival-interferenz-part-2/
I can't make the Saturday one, but may well be heading to the Friday event.
There's also some cool gigs coming up at L'Usine!

If you go to London, and ask for "The Underground" you will be shown how to travel on it.
Glad I could help,
Jules
