Billy Pilgrim from good old Schlachthof-fünf! Buckets of gorey yet strangely comforting fun in the maggoty time worm of a life that can't be destroyed. Billy stays zen under pressure cause he can allow his consciousness to slide into any point in time in his life. A character and book that make the idea of death bearable (and therefore an immensely empowering piece of writing).
Buy kurt vonnegut's slaughterhouse five on amazon today and have yourself a real blast! (p.s. i don't work for amazon, i am not (sadly) kurt vonnegut nor am i entitled to receive any royalties from the sales of said book. I'm just a fan.)
