Nicholas Cage and Maggie Gyllenhal star in the true story about the rescue of 2 NY city police officers in the rubble of the Twin Towers on September 11th. Although not nearly as tear-jearking as I had imagined there were a few moments I felt my eyes swell up. Great visuals of the towers and of recreating the scene. Nicholas Cage does not give a very strong or convincing performance as a NY city Police Sergent (he's horizontal most of the film) and his accent keeps fading in and out. The plot was week and the acting was mediocre at best. All in all, very disappointing.

I read some of them on allocine.fr (they link reviews from most of the writting press), and neary all were awful. I can't give you my own... all of these + nancy's scared me too much to go watch it :)

BUT, I usually tend to ask myself first whether the movie was any good rather than making myself believe what others think. And i can do all that considering the fact that I saw the movie Sundy night, right??

IMO, WTC was neither bad nor good. I guess the part of the movie that entertained me most was to see if Nicolas Cage and his partner would actually survive...

1.Who benefited the most out of this? (my point being if Bin Laden was that smart to planify such an opeartion for the sake of muslims, I am sure that they are the ones that suffered the most out of it... thats why I am eliminating this option and please correct me if I am wrong)

2.Why was the family Bin laden the only family allowed to travel the following day after 9/11?

3. Why were Bin Laden TV statements out only when it was useful to Bush to show Americans that their security was threatened and therefore justified more military action around the globe?

4. why dont we hear anything about BinLaden anymore , now that american troops are settled in Irak and Afghanistan?!
