An excellent movie, it is directed by the guy that did Seven (sorry but I am bad at recalling names) although this time it is not a fiction but based on a true serial killer during the 80s in L.A. The movie is similar to a documentary... and tries to solve the mystery of this butcher. You get carried away by the story and although it is on the long side 2h30, you never get bored. Worth a go!

i absolutely don't agree with the meaning above. some friends and me, we watched the movie last saturday and i have to say it was one of the most boring movies i ever saw. i even slept in because it was that long. eventhough the story is basically good they made the worst out of it. sorry, but i think this is one of the movies you can easily wait to watch them on dvd and even then there are better ones...

I watched it last night and I thought it was quite good, so did my boyfriend. From my point of view the cool thing about this movie is that, it's not too much action, by that I mean murder, exciting crazy scenes or cops chasing the murderer on streets, you know all that. Yet with just the dialogue and the progress of the investigation, the directing really got me into the story, I could feel that the movie wasn't short but it really didn't matter coz it was so good.
I'm not the kind who's a fan of action movie so I don't need and I don't like shocking shots or blood. And Zodiac really just didn't show much of that but still built the tension really really well.
It's worth watching. :)

I watched it last night, with my girlfriend, my cousin and her boyfriend. The two girls didn't like it very much and nearly felt asleep, while I liked it so did my cousin's boyfriend. As the story of that butcher last for so many years, I'm not sure it could have been much shorter, and didn't feel it was boring, too long, or anything.
BTW, it's a David Fincher movie ;)

It passes the time, but lacks the suspense and fear of the real classics (like Seven).
Net, worth a watch, but don't expect another Seven just cos it's the same director.
