Nothing better than a good comedy like this one. When your week has been tough, long and stressful you just need to see a funny movie to get started again and enjoy the weekend!

Although the start might be slow, it all turns out to be so absurd that you just cannot stop laughing... just a pure moment of happiness. You need to change your mind, you need to laugh then go for it and enjoy it... let yourself indulge into a moment of oblivion and forget everything for 1h30 of pure pleasure. Not a master comedy but it works... just like the good days of British comedy... Who said funerals are sad!

And there are a couple of nice moments, things to think about... like do not judge people for their mistakes but for the good things they have tried to achieve.

since I did not expect it to be good. But it had the audience in splits. It is absolutely absurd and funny.

I really was getting to the point when i completely gave up on there ever being anoter good comedy film, one that wasn't just dumb humour!
Not that this is so 'high brow' or anything, just that it doesn't relie on fart jokes!

a welcome change! my stomach was hurting i laughed so much!

Saw it this weekend and laughed so hard! Must say I was glad to watch it at home where I could get up and walk away. I get grossed out easily (still not sure how I managed to watch Slither, probably just shut my eyes a lot) so during a couple of the scenes, I just had to leave the room. Ick, just thinking about it.
Loved it, though! Highly recommend it!
And Alan Tudyk is in it! Total gratuitous Firefly connection. YAY!

I watched this during my Long Haul flight movie fest and actually laughed out loud . It certainly had all the elements of comedy for me, and the gross out parts added to my enjoyment.
