fiction movies featuring Geneva / Switzerland?

Hi Glocals,

How about a list of fiction movies featuring Geneva / Switzerland?

There is already a 44-item list in Wikipedia, but I can think of at least three movies which are not there:

1)      Goldfinger (USA, 1964) starring Sean Connery as James Bond

2)      Bread and Chocolate (Italy, 1974)

3)      The Eiger Sanction (USA, 1975)

If you could think of any further titles, please do not hesitate to share them. It’s always interesting to see the country where you live with a film director’s eyes!

Many thanks!

And apologies for the mistake in the main post - Goldfinger is of course a UK production, not US. Unfortunately I cannot find a way to correct the first post.

Check out the clip in Goldfinger when he's driving through Switzerland. On the radar in his car it's showing Coppet and Nyon, yet the exterior shots are in the middle of the mountains.

Also I see Syriana wasn't on the list. When Matt Damon's driving to work he does some spectacular doubling back on himself or else his GPS was up the shoot! Laughing

Agents secrets (France, 2004), starring Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassels, and where Bellucci can be seen in Rue de Rhone waiting for the tram.

This was from The Champions. A British TV series from the 60s and 70s. Not a movie I know but the opening sequence featured the Jet d'eau.

The first Bourne .... Jason gives some Zurich police a kicking in a park, and then legs it into a supposedly US mission... where he beats up all the Marines...

Interestingly the Swiss denied filming rights for this coz it would give banking a bad image... it wasnt filmed in Zurich...

Muaha ha hahahahaahaaaa

Can't forget this one from the start of another Bond film, Goldeneye. At the Verzasca dam in Ticino.

1. The opening scene of "Goldeneye" was filmed in Switzerland, even if it is supposed to be set in a dam somewhere in Russia.

2. The final scenes of the French film, "Indochine," in which Catherine Deneuve talks to her daughter by the shores of Lac Leman.

That's true! All of the many adaptations showing Sherlock Holmes' death, or Frankenstein's story, should show Switzerland as the books themselves determine this.
