Alaskan New to Geneva

Hullo everyone!

My name is Alex and I moved here from Alaska about a month ago. I am currently working as an au pair in Saint Jean de Gonville. I'd like to learn French, meet some friends, and explore Geneva (but mostly the spectacular mountains around here.)

I speak English and Spanish, am an avid skier and hiker, and would like to get more into climbing and mountaineering. I also love sports - especially volleyball and soccer- and basically anything outdoors. (Wouldn't say no to a post-work drink somewhere either though :)

I hope to meet some of you lovely people soon!

I'm new here too and am looking to learn French, hike and meet new people as well. I work with the World Economic Forum and live in Eaux Vives. Let me know if you'd like to catch up and/or do anything outdoors.
