American doing IT, video & communications in Geneva for 15 years; new to Zurich... !

Hi, My name is Randy. I just moved toZurichfromGeneva.

I have done communications work for years, from strategies to graphics work. I really dig making videos-- most recently for bands, but for more corporate stuff in the past. I did tons of consulting with my own business inGenevafor years, but due to personal reasons, I live inZurichnow. So far, it seems like a really cool place to be!

I also play guitar and sing in a couple of hard rock bands. Who knows, maybe we've run into each other. I would be the "other" guy on stage with long hair waving a microphone at you. ;)

Among other things, I am looking around for a new position, so if you hear anything please pass it along. I have worked at the United Nations, at private companies, and independently, so I'm game for just about anything.

Oh, and if you see the people in charge of deciding how many national languages Switzerland has, please tell them that after YEARS of painful struggle, I FINALLY got French down. And now-- not only do people speak German here, they speak SWISS GERMAN, and I get to start all over again! Yay. :/
