Hello!
From my experience, glocals.com can be a good place to meet and interact with new people.
Check out for courses at the local University, they can be a good way to meet people with the same interests (if you speak the language).

And also check the “Groups” and “Things to do” tabs. You’ll soon find plenty of activities and lots of people to meet.
