Another British guy in Zuerich!
Hi everybody,

I'm Ben from Bristol, UK and I arrived in Zuerich in January.  I recently finished my studies and am looking for work over here.  I have had family in Switzerland for a long time but its my first time living here properly, not just holidaying :)  I'm hoping to meet up with some of you guys to have a drink or go to Gigs/Concerts.  Hope you are all enjoying the sun!

Cheers!

Ben

Hey Ben,

Welcome to Zurich (and to glocals!).

You've come to a great city (althogh I myself live in GVA), and the fact you have family there will surely make the landing softer.

The only advice I could share with you is to 'get out there'. When moving to a new city (based on my own limited experience), the start is often difficult, especially on the social side. And it's easy to give up and not make the effort not get out there and meet other folks. Don't fall into that trap...(-;

The best way to make glocals work for you is to join (or post) a Member-Activity. And if you're free this Thursday, come join the glocals Zurich Musical-Chairs Dinner.

Enjoy Zurich and glocals,

Nir
