Hi guys
Just thought I would come and say hi!
I’m moving with my job (a bank) to Geneva this Saturday from Manchester, England and was told that this site would be excellent for a person new to Geneva……..certainly seems so!
I’ve never been to Switzerland before, let alone Geneva, so I’m hoping it will be a good place to be based!
Well I look forward to joining the GOL community anyway and getting involved with some events…………looks like this party on Saturday could be a good chance, so hopefully see you there!

Welcome to Geneva... you're gonna love it. Life is good, food is great, drinks are expensive but the snow this winter is going to be powder.
I'm still loving it after 1 year. It's not perfect but I prefer here to London anyday.

I was lucky enough, at least by my own opinion, to live just outside Manchester for a while. I love that city, and prefer it to the other places I lived in the UK. Welcome to Geneva, since you already know about this site you are all set for a very active social life. I jumped right in my first weekend in the city and I am still friends with the people I met then and loads more since. Hope you like it here :)

Safety in numbers :-)
I`m sure you will have lots of fun here, although compared to Manchester.. you have to make your own nightlife! (with gol thats pretty easy to do).

I lived for one year in Bradford. I know it's even worse than Manchester, but Geneva shouldn't disapoint you, that's my bet ! ;-)
