Hello, people around the Schweiz.
While checking what's up and where to go I found this page. Looks like you are having quite some fun. So I thought, heck, why should they be partying without me? I'll give it a try and see what happens.
Since my work consists mostly of sitting behind a computer I am not unused to writing long, and usually meaningless posts. And right now, I am alone in the office, as no-one will blame me for not doing exactly what I should. But don't tell this too loud.
I'm in Suisse (word Switzerland is just to long and I easily confuse it for Swaziland) from September on. Precisely, Zürich. After settling in, which includes getting used to the whole business environment as well as finding my own place I can call home - or at least where I can receive a post, I started to look where could I do something that I would also mingle with the happy cheering crowd around me.
So, let's see what will happen...

Welcome to Zurich and to glocals.
Your secret about you writing long posts instead of working is safe with us, don't worry...(-:
Here's the one thing I learned about glocals: it will not work for you if you just 'wait to see what happens'. For glocals to work, you have to attend Member-Activities, or post your own. And then it works really well.
Just give it a shot now. Think of something you want to do this coming weekend - play tennis, watch a movie, go to drink after work - and post it on the Member-Activities section. Almost certainly, some people will answer you and want to join you. And bang - glocals is working for you...(-:
