I've just arrived in Zurich just over a month ago and am looking to meet new people to hang out with.
Originally, I'm from Malaysia but have been living in Europe for 13 years. I love going out for dinner, meeting up with people and doing stuff with others. I love playing tennis, although I'm rather rubbish at it and would love to be able to ski/snowboard, speak french, dance salsa, etc.
Right enough blabbering - I'll be attending the meet up on 7th Jan. I'll see you all there!
Cheerio!

Welcome to Zurich (and to glocals!).
You came to the right place in order to meet new people. I'm actually looking for a tennis partner that I can beat fro sure, so the fact you're a rubbish tennis player makes you the perfect choice...(-:
Seriously, just post what ever you feel like doing on the Member-Activities section, and see which other Zurich folks want to join you. It really works.
Have a great 2009!

Thanks for this! :-)
Do you know where they have indoor courts for tennis? Sure we could play a game or two. Perhaps we should set up a regular expat tennis group?
Cheers!

I'm not too familiar with Zurich's tennis courts (I spend most of time in GVA), but will find out and revert...

I play Squash...and planning to try my hands on Tennis..
I've formed a "Racket Club" (for Squash, Tennis and Badminton). Will send you the details by email.
There are tennis courts on Oerlikon, Schlieren and other places in Zurich.
