Arizona to Geneva
Hi! Just moved to Geneva a few weeks ago with my husband. Previously we were living in a small town on the west coast of France and moved here to "live the Swiss dream." Needless to say there were very little activities and very little English, so I am a little rusty at both social acitivies and being able to speak proper English (and I don't even speak French that great so speaking in general is hard for me now).

I am desperate to find things to do that don't involve me sitting around listening to he and his friends speak in French about insurance sales. I can't wait to meet up with you guys and expand my vocabulary!

Also, what do people do around here for Turkey day and Halloween?

My mother language is english. I am from the US. I moved to France 6 months ago. Where we were living nobody spoke english (except my husband) and I didnt really speak french. Because of his mother I am a bit better at French but not great and because he isn't completely fluent in English I have suffered a bit by losing my ability to think of complex vocabulary. We moved to Geneva a few weeks ago.

Sorry for the confusion. I am a bit confused myself.
