Hello Glocals, I'm Jo, 29 yrs old and as of last month yet another new expat arrival in Geneva :) so far I'm loving the crisp sunshine and mountains on the horizon (itching to go climb them) and rather surprised at how much high school French I'm remembering. I've also lucked into an apartment which after what I've been reading I'm extremely grateful for! As it is, I'm set up here for the next few years for work and looking to settle in and meet people. I like hiking and exploring (lots of travel planned) as well as music and geeky movies, so if anyone's interested in doing something drop me a line!

Hey there! I'd be up to do something some day :) I also like exploring/traveling and music and geeky movies haha. I'm an au pair in the Geneva area. Oh, and I'm Swedish :)

Hello Helena :) whereabouts in Geneva are you? What was the last movie you watched? I've been here just over a week - still getting used to seeing mountains on the horizon - and really liking it!

Hmm the last movie I watched must be Spiderman haha, yourself? I don't actually live in Geneva, I live in a village in France just on the border to Switzerland. It's about twenty minutes away :) But I go to Geneva several times a week. Really liking the mountains on the horizon too!! I can see one of them from my host family's kitchen window :D The scenery really is wonderful here!

Last movie was the Avengers on DVD, it was incredibly fun =D I've yet to go out to the villages but I'm impatient to do so - I've heard they're lovely and the food, ooh, food! If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear them!
