Been lost in France for a while - new life - new friends (had to trade in the last lot - they forgot how to smile). Would welcome connections of all types (except for homicidal maniacs with feet fetishes or people wanting me to walk their dogs)

Not at all - more of a statement of energy and revitalised motivation. Left a marriage and suburbia and came back to city life (even if the city is Geneva).
Still have my house across the border - going to sell it now and break another link to the past.
Positive experiences all round - just wish my french language skills were better (will enrol in a course now I have some time).
