Hello everyone,

Three years in Geneva already but first time on Glocals. First thought it was for the 20 something, full of "night clubing energy", but realised that the slightly less energetic were also welcome! So here we go. From Nottingham, biligual English/French, and we love Geneva and surrounding area, not so much for the "show off / Bling bling" side of it, but for the lovely wine, (too expensive but nice) restaurants, the outdoor life, all the languages and world cultures. We love world cinema and music, we have made lots of Swiss friends, but... there is something about the British "spontaneity and sense of humour" that we sometimes miss a lot. Meeting like-minded people from time to time would be nice, while at the same time we really want to immerse ourselves fully into Swiss culture and welcome all the suggestions on this forum.
