British Argentine new to Geneva..

Hi All,

My girlfriend and I have just moved to Geneva from London. She was offered a job here through her company and we decided it would be a fantastic opportunity to try something different, meet some new people and experience life in this great city.

The easy part was getting here but now it’s time to find an apartment and a job for myself.

I’m looking for a sales or operational position and speak Spanish and hopefully soon, French. Any help or advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I’m looking forward to joining some of the GLocal events and getting my teeth into this city as soon as possible!

Jonathan

Welcome to Geneva Jonathan!!!

Bienvenido a Ginebra!!!

For sales you will very likely need to be able to speak French. For the operational sector (and I'm not very sure what you mean by operational position) maybe english (and spanish) is enough for now. If you work in the technical sector or at one of the many International Organizations in Geneva area then certainly english will be the official language.

Wishing you the best,

Thanks Carlos and Maggie,

The appartment has actually been found now thanks to G Locals.

Now just the job to tick off the list...
