Coming from the Windy City

Hi, my husband and I will be moving to Geneva from Chicago, IL USA in late August. I will be working for the WHO for 2 years starting 1 September. We have a little dog and would love to meet other dog owners once we arrive. We are very nervous about finding someone to care for our little one while we travel Europe and make the most of our time in Geneva! Maybe some of you have suggestions as to dog sitters or boarding facilities...

That's great that there's a forum about exchanging pet sitting duties. I absolutely was going to suggest something like that. I'll check it out...

I don't want to know about the winds being like Chicago. I think I'll try to stay ignorant about that until we get there :).
