Coming to Geneva in March

Hello fellow GLocals!

Some new job responsibilities brings my husband and I to Switzerland. We are packing up our home in California and heading for the snow in March.

This seems like such a friendly community. I am excited to get to know the newcomers and locals more.

I love Chen Style Tai Chi (Hun Yuan), and would be happy to share my practice with interested people when we arrive.

I also play fiddle / some mandolin. Should anyone love bluegrass, balkan, or other forms of folk music and be interested in putting a group together, hit me up!

I am an artist and SoulCollage® Facilitator. I am excited to bring that expressive arts practice to Geneva.

Until March! Bonne année à tous!

Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

I'm Benoit. I live in and I'm from Geneva. I used to give French lessons to expats a long time ago but now I'm back on glocals because I miss being friend with American people (I studied in Florida). So I know nothing about Tai Chi or mandolin but I do love arts so I was wondering what is Soul Collage?! I'll google that up in a second but tell more about it yourself?! Is that your job?

let me know if you have questions about living in Geneva. I'll gladly help if I can.

Salut Benoit!

SoulCollage is an expressive arts practice where one uses collage to create cards, usually 8x5 format, that are mirrors into one's soul. It was developed by Seena Frost who was deeply influenced by Jung. Part of this practice is to dialogue with the cards, allowing one's subconsious to surface. It is always surprising and sometimes magical what results!

I am a SoulCollage facilitator. Hosting workshops is one of my practices. I noticed that there are no facilitators in Geneva, so I am excited to introduce this incredible system to people here.

It is so kind of you to reach out. I apologize for not responding earlier. We were enmeshed in the moving chaos. Just arrived and it is very beautiful here!

Hi Alexandra!

We just arrived and are busy looking for apartments, getting settled. I will start SoulCollage workshops hopefully in a few months once have a home to land in and the basics setup. I will keep you posted. I wasn't sure if you were interested in the SoulCollage, or perhaps something else? I have a couple of people interested now...

I recently joined the AIWC (American International Women's Center) which is in Eaux Vives. Have been plaing weekly mahjong there. That's my current social outlet.

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest!!!
