Ferney Glocals meet up

Good evening ladies & gents,

As a newcomer in Geneva, & having found a temporary home in between Ferney & Ornex I'd love to know if there are many Glocals living in the area.

Any clubs, sports or local activities to visit or hangout in the evenings?

We could meet for dinner one of these days...

Anyone interested?

Some Tuesdays, Paddy's gives a popquiz in French/English. Also, they serve food.

You CAN have a life in Ferney... Not everything is in Geneva.

Saturday morning market, there is small cinéma and you shop on Sunday morning and until 9 pm weekdays.

Paddy's pub, the Urban Café at la Réserve. Café du soleil on a sunny day offers a Nice terrace.

There are doctors, dentists, beauty salons, banks, restaurants, hotels and the Centre International d'Affaires, all that 7 minutes away by car from the airport and about 10-15 minutes from the U.N.

There are also Nice long walks you can do! Swimming pool, you can even To for runs by woods.

The free music is only on Mondays @ 19.30 till 21.30...they stop july and august and start inseptember.....
