Hello all!

I have recently arrived in France, just over the border from Geneva, from British Columbia, Canada. 

I decided I needed more adventure in my life so I packed up and moved here. I am a bit freaked out at the moment but I am slowly getting used to such a different environment. I am living with friends in Pays de Gex and looking for work as a nanny (if anyone knows of any jobs, please let me know! I have a visa to work in France!)

I look forward to learn French and more about the French culture. It is so beautiful here, I have been enjoying walks in the fields and trails since I arrived :) I am also hoping to make some new friends so I don't have to be a third wheel to my friends forever....but baby steps!
