Hi there we are a family of three, actually five considering our two dogs, and we are moving by the end of sept. 2024 to Geneva for a new chapter of our life.

The idea is to settle for at least a few years. I got a job in an International Organisation (what a surprise :)) and my son (2years old) and my partner (personal trainer) are coming along. My partner will seek to work as personal trainer in a gym or as a freelance so if you have any tips, advice or anything else to bear in mind before starting we will really appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

As you imagine and as most of the people moving to GVA we are also looking for a long term accomodation or for subletting one before finding our charming house :) Ideally we would like to live outside the City of Geneva, but not too far either (coppet, mies, grand et petit sacconex, vernier, meyrin, genthod, nyon, etc...), we are looking for a 3 bedroom house with garden (remind the 2 dogs :) ) and we have a budget of about 4000CHF.  If you have any tips, advice or hear anything that could make our life easier given we are moving from Cote d'Ivoire to GVA than I would really appreciate and exchange that with nice tiramisu as soon as I am settle :)
