From Australia to Geneva

Hi Glocals!

My name is Sarah and I am from beautiful Sydney, Australia.

I have been living and working in Geneva for one month and am here for another two. I thought it was about time I got out there, made new friends and see what adventures I may come across! I am open to anything and everything, love trying new activities and travelling to places less explored.

Hope to meet some of you at the events,

S.

Welcome Sarah! Have a look at the Things to Do and see if there are any you like, and don't be afraid to post your own. In case you missed the Halloween party last weekend, the next big one is the Christmas formal ball on December 8.

Hey Sarah!

There are always a ton of events in Geneva and Laussane that are coming up in the next few weeks.  If your willing to travel to Lausanne (45min to an hour) by train, you can go to Jasper's drinks this weekend, the Lausanne Halloween party, or the Lausanne Jazz festival (www.jazzonzeplus.ch).  Just check out what people are posting and I am sure you will find an event that you like.

Kind regards,

Deepak

Hi I've been in Geneva just over one month looking to make new friends and interests... when is the Jazz Festival?

Welcome. I was in OZ for the first time this summer (your winter). Funny how some parts of Sydney feel like London... until you notice the sun shining, parrots in the trees and an ibis peeking in your grocery bag.
