Welcome. I spent six months in the jungle in the area of Telefomin (upper Sepik river) in the 70's then walked out I think as far as Wabag (took me three weeks), first six days without seeing anybody but am pretty sure that many people saw me. Loved the place but existence was tough. $Whereabouts are you from
