OK, well here it is
I am an aupair here in Geneva
After almost 3 months, I think I am actually starting to kind of like this place
I haven't even scratched the surface on what this city has to offer I'm sure,
but I love going to movies, having coffee, shopping, seeing plays, reading, and many more fantastic things. I miss Vancouver terribly, but am trying to find some comforts here, which currently includes eating chocolate on a daily basis, thats healthy right??
I really am just easy going, and I love to try new things!

Just wanted to say welcome. I'm an au pair, too, so I know what you're going through. I take my charges to Park Bertrand and the museum at least once a week, so you're welcome to join us if you want.

I like this place even I am lost sometimes between all those expensive watches, and bijoux, and suites, bankers....but on the other hand, there is great countryside for riding bike, some good pubs unfortunately for me so smokie...fun and lots of young people.......
PS: chocolat is definately good for you, and specially swiis is good quality,so no worries and doubt about healthy lifestyle....

im an au pair too!! we should start up an au pair meeting on this site. we should all try and meet up sometime with the kids.. i know i love it when they can amuse themselves! :-) anyway feel free to contact me if you want to meet up or anything... im slooowwly learning my way aroung this CRAZY city! but i know how hard it is to make friends as an au pair too :-)
