GIRL DRUMMER IN ZURICH
 Ciao everyone,
I'm an Italian girl drummer moving to Zurich in 2 weeks, before that I lived in Japan for 3 years as a teacher, was an exchange student in Sweden and worked in UK for some months.
I play in 2 girls bands "Chica Chups" ( www.myspace.com/chicachups ) and "Rougenoire Babies" ( www.rougenoire.it ) and I'm wondering if there's any musicians in this nice community that wants to meet up play a little and why not form a band in Zurich.
I'm also looking forward to get involved into the community activities and find new friends!
I'm a very outgoing lady and enjoy partying!

Hi Sara and welcome to glocals (and soon, to Zurich :-) )

I'm sure we have some musicians in Zurich.  You just need to give them some time to reply.

I hope your move goes smoothly and see you in Zurich.

HI Sara,I've just arrived to Zurich 2 weeks ago and why not eh?  I sang in different bands some years ago and would love to at least hang out to see what could come of it.  I am going to a musician community house next week to see what they have going on there.  Maybe we could meet before or after.P

 Hi Sara
I know quite some musicians and can introduce you to them if you are still interested. It's a pity I saw this message only now. Two days ago most of them were at my birthday party and we had a great jamsession there. I play guitar, but not often enough for forming a band. What kind of music, by the way?

Peter, thank you. Of course I'd love to get introduced to fellow musicians.
Especially if they are willing to form a band ;)
I can play rock, pop, hard rock, bossanova and gothic metal.
Wanna know more? visit my space:

 Hello Sara.
What sort of music do you play?
I was a rock drummer for 15 years in a past life in london and am also very interested in the music scene here in Switzerland, at the moment I live in Fribourg but will hopefully move soon as there is nothing to do here and no english speeking people and also no music unless you are into church choire practice.
I wish you all the best, put some adds out in Music shops (notice boards), thats how a lot of musicians find work.
Iron maiden and AC/DC found their drummers that way, a simple add on a scrap of paper can sometimes bring great rewards.
Hope to see you play someday, keep me informed.

Ciao Lawrence, I played a lot of different things (rock, pop, hard rock, bossanova...) and I have a medium experience, I started long ago but played only on and off for the first years.
I will definitely put adds around the city!
I really hope to be playing soon in a local band, or maybe make one on my own!
And I heard there are a lot of pubs to play live in the city :)))))
Yummy!
See you around Zurich then!

hi sara,
we are a group playing on a weekly basis, getting ready for maybe some winter gigs. we are 3 (two females and myself)  2 guitars and a bass. we have all the instruments (including a full drum set) and amps, mics, "the whole 9 yards" and a garage under a private home to practice in :-)
we would welcome a drummer to join us :-) . we are near geneva. if you would like to, just let me know. we usually get together on weekday afternoons.

"the beat goes on"....bye for now

Roger, that would be lovely but I live in Zurich :((
I checked the distance and it would be very far.
And most of all afternoons are working time for me...
Sadly I have to refuse your kind offer....
SIGH SIGH!
